About the Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay 2023 750ml
The certified sustainable Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay is bursting with fresh fruit flavors and aromas of graham cracker, apple, and toasty oak. This well-balanced California Chardonnay is grown on the Central Coast and barrel-aged to perfection. A versatile white wine, pair it with seafood, grilled chicken, and light pastas.
Morning Fog Chardonnay is inspired by the coastal fog from the Pacific Ocean that blankets the vineyard in the early morning and is blown away by ocean breezes in the afternoon. The Wente family was the first in California to produce a varietally labeled Chardonnay from the Wente clone. Today, many of the great Chardonnay vineyards in California are planted with Wente clone grape vines.

Nectarine, peach blossom, and chamomile generously spreads across the palate. Midpalate notes of papaya and gardenia develop into a tropical paradise, followed by a caress of vanilla custard n the balanced finish.
