The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old is an iconic single malt Scotch whisky crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE at The Balvenie Distillery in Speyside. Matured for at least 12 years in traditional American oak ex-bourbon barrels and refill oak casks before being finished for nine months in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks, it is renowned for pioneering the wood-finishing process, resulting in a rich, complex, and smooth flavor profile.
