About the Famille Sichel La Dame d'Angludet Margaux 2019 750ml
Previously known as La Reserve d'Angludet, this wine has a sustained garnet colour. The nose is open, the oak already well integrated and at this stage the fruit of the Petit Verdot predominates. The palate is ample and perfectly balanced, with a deeply layered structure and generous extract. Like the chateau's first wine, the ideal balance of this wine, far from being monotonous, brings out every detail, creating relief and complexity that only the greatest terroirs can provide.
La Dame d’Angludet offers the best quality for price in the entire Margaux appellation, offering dazzling aromatic expression and gentle extract, which is sustained yet delicate. Thus renamed, it is a sincere tribute to the women who have contributed directly or indirectly to the history of our property dating from the 12th century.
Food Match : A good match for fine cuts of beef, roast lamb, wild mushrooms, game including venison, boar and hare and well flavoured cheeses.
