Nose

If you want to bring Tuscany and »old-fashioned« together, then you are welcome to opt for Le Trame, in which small quantities of the old Chianti varieties Colorino, Mammolo and Foglia Tonda have been incorporated alongside Sangiovese. The Brett notes, which give a hint of farmyard at the beginning, fade quite quickly. Le Trame then smells of dry wood and tar, black cherries with dark chocolate and a sweet hint of orange, cinnamon and flowers.

Palate

At first, Le Trame surprises with a distinctly cherry-juicy attack, which is carried by a lively acidity. The cherries are ripe and sweet, the acidity is grippy and the texture is carried by ripe, elegant tannins. Wood only plays a role here in the texture. The bright fruit and the acidity are the driving force, giving the wine an unprecedented drinking flow. The wine deserves a rustic Tuscan cuisine.
