Masi Brolo di Campofiorin Oro 2018 750ml

Dry, rich, velvety, complex and elegant. Made in the same approachable style as Campofiorin, of which this is a cuvée version, using the original production method inspired by the technique employed for Amarone. The wine is a deep ruby red color. Aromas of berry fruit, preserves and vanillas. The palate is rich, full-bodied, and packed with baked fruit, hints of cocoa and vanilla on the finish.

Given extra complexity with the addition to the blend of the special Oseleta grape, rediscovered by Masi, ageing in small oak casks accentuates its international style.

93 Points James Suckling
Attractive aromas of ripe raspberries, plums and black cherries with hints of citrus rind, dark chocolate and wet stones. Medium-bodied with firm, polished tannins and vivid acidity. Impressive concentration and focus, with ripe-berry character, yet it retains freshness and and a crunchy texture. Lingering finish.
