About the Thibault Liger-Belair Beaujolais-Villages Les Jeunes Pousses 2018 750ml
The name Jeunes Pousses does not mean young vines but a young winemaker's project.
We offer to the young wine professionals the opportunity to manage the estate for a period of 3 years in all its activities, from the vineyard to the sales. At the end of this period, its new winegrowers "Jeunes Pousses"will be allow to create their own domain, with this solid experience and fly of their own wings.
This cuvée is a blend of 5ha of vines, the youngest is 40 years old and the oldest is over 100 years old.
3 weeks of fermentation with a very light extraction.
30 % of new oak barrels are used for an aging period of 12 months.
