Laphroaig Batch 17 rewards those who yearn to explore. Laphroaig's Original Cask Strength is barrier-filtered to remove char particles and maintain purity, unleashing a rich character that’s true to the wind-lashed island from where it came: what you pour is what is drawn from the barrel.
Nose: Peat smoke, heather and sea salt notes.
Palate: Stewed apple, vanilla cream and pears in syrup, kissed with a hint of cooling menthol.
Finish: Very long, with a prickly black pepper spice and sweet grassy smoke that fades into tarry peat.
