About the Idi di Marzo Amarne Family Selection Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2022
The AMARNE comes from a rigorous selection of the best Montepulciano grapes from the Idi Di Marzo estate and embodies the boundless love for viticulture that Famiglia De Cerchio has got since 1910.
It displays an intense ruby red color with hints of garnet reflections. On the nose, it is full-bodied, with notes of wild berries and blackberry jam, accompanied by hints of tobacco, coffee, and cocoa powder on the finish. In the mouth, it is a complex, soft, and rounded wine, well-balanced and pleasantly persistent. The finish reveals hints of chocolate and black pepper.
The AMARNE pairs perfectly with structured pasta dishes and, thanks to its versatility, complements any type of meat, from white to red varieties.
