Fanti Brunello Riserva Vigna Le Macchiarelle 2019 750ml

Only in the best vintages, we produce the Brunello Riserva from “Vigna Le Macchiarelle”, planted by Filippo in 1980. 

Thanks to the particular soil and exposure, this area is extraordinarily suited for the cultivation of vines and it offers wines with distinguished flavors and long aging potential.

Tasting Notes:
Color: intense ruby red with garnet nuances
Nose: Hints of ripe fruit such as blackberries, cranberries and drunken sour
cherries predominate together with the spicy note of black pepper. This is
followed by floral hints of geranium and cocoa beans. Balsamic and mineral
notes close the bouquet of aromas
Palate: The entrance is elegant and fresh. The centre is full and recalls the fruit
and spice notes perceived on the nose. Fine and well integrated

Graceful style for this riserva with its blood-orange, cinnamon and even yellow-fruit characters allied to fresh red berries. Its intoxicating definition is completed on the palate by full body and fruit concentration with almost silky, very ripe tannins, super-refreshing acidity and a vibrant finish. Warming at the end but otherwise outstanding. Drinkable now but best from 2026.
