About the Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur 750ml
-
Aroma & Flavor
Disaronno has a distinctive sweet, nutty character. The nose offers almond-like / marzipan notes, with hints of cherry, apricot, and herbaceous undertones.
On the palate, it is smooth, velvety, with strong notes of sweet almond / marzipan, subtle stone fruit, vanilla, and mild spice. The finish is lingering and slightly warming. -
Color & Appearance
Disaronno is amber / golden brown in color, typical of sweet liqueurs having caramel or sugar coloring. -
Usage / Serving Suggestions
It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or used in a variety of cocktails (e.g. Amaretto Sour, Godfather, or as a sweet twist in mixed drinks).
It also works well in dessert recipes—cakes, tiramisu, coffee, ice cream, etc. -
History & Brand Notes
Disaronno measures its heritage back to Saronno, Italy, and the liqueur was formerly known as “Amaretto di Saronno” before being rebranded as “Disaronno Originale.”
