About the Chateau Haut-Carles Fronsac 2016 750ml
Tasting notes: A fresh bouquet with notes of black cherries, blackberries, black plums, aniseed, red roses, forest floor, and iron ore. The palate is medium to full-bodied with firm tannins, a long finish, and mineral notes.
Food pairings: Pairs well with dry ribs, classic roast, and aged gouda.
Winemaking: The grapes are manually harvested in crates, then sorted by densitometry. The wine is vinified by plot by gravity and aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats and 12 months in 100% French oak.
