Castiglion del Bosco Campo del Drago Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a prestigious and highly acclaimed single-vineyard expression of 100% Sangiovese reflecting a textbook growing season in Tuscany. Sourced from the highest and rockiest 1.5-hectare parcel of the estate's Capanna vineyard at an elevation of 430 meters, this exceptional vintage was fermented using a high percentage of whole berries before aging for 24 months in French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a brooding, deep ruby-red color with classic garnet highlights. The nose is remarkably expressive and complex, unveiling intriguing aromas of dark berries, ripe raspberries, and crushed stones, elegantly layered with fresh herbal notes of lemongrass, basil, and exotic spices.
