About the Castiglion Del Bosco Campo Del Drago 750ml
Campo del Drago is a Brunello di Montalcino cru from the finest vineyard in the Capanna area, a hectare and a half at the highest elevation. Superbly-structured and with a distinctive personality. Campo del Drago is the most refined expression of Sangiovese produced at Castiglion del Bosco.
Campo del Drago enjoys one of its highest expressions when paired with the succulence and softness of pigeon, whose breast is served here at its most delicate. The bold spicing of the wine is perfectly at one with the flavour combination bestowed to the meat by the beetroot, celeriac and the exotic overtones of coffee.
