About the Canella Puccini Mandarin Cocktail 750ml
Critic tasting note: "Not strictly speaking a sparkling wine, this 75 percent wine fizz contains 25 percent mandarin orange juice from Sicily and is labelled a cocktail. It has a stunning yellow/orange colour and a nose awash in citrus, lemon pith, and mandarin. The palate is similar to sweet mandarin juice, perfectly balanced by the acidity of the sparkling wine. Canella works with the Consorzio Tardivo di Ciaculli, a Slow Food Presidio, to pair its best fruit with sparkling wines. The wine is labelled tardivo (meaning late) because it is harvested in late February, later than the average harvesting of Mandarin oranges. Brunch, anyone? (Anthony Gismondi)." - 88/100, Gismondi on Wine
