Brancaia Tre 2021 is a highly approachable, organic Tuscan red wine that beautifully blends Sangiovese with international Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from three of the estate's top-performing properties across Castellina, Radda in Chianti, and the coastal Maremma, this medium-bodied cuvée captures a vibrant and versatile regional character. The wine matures for 12 months, with two-thirds of the blend resting in French oak tonneaux and one-third in concrete vats to preserve pure fruit intensity. On the nose, it releases a remarkably fresh and inviting bouquet of ripe blackberries, wild cherries, and red plums, elegantly layered with nuances of dark chocolate, licorice, dried herbs, and a subtle touch of orange peel. The palate is juicy and balanced, highlighting a silky texture, fine-grained tannins, and a crisp line of mineral acidity that carries into a smooth, savory finish.
