About the Zorzal El Barba Malbec 2018 750ml
Critic tasting note: (2018 vintage) "This new edition of El Barba in one of the best vintages of the decade continues to be a very particular malbec. It comes from Zorzal's own vineyards beside the winery in Gualtallary, and the vines are planted on sandy soils with a depth of about four meters. Fermented in concrete eggs and then aged in 2,000-liter foudres for just over a year, this version is intense in flavors of red fruits and notes of spices and herbs in a powerful body with sharp tannins, intense acidity, and a finish that tastes like tart black fruits. One for the cellar." - 96/100, Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
