Zarate El Palomar Albarino 2024

Zárate El Palomar Albariño 2024 is a single-vineyard, artisanal white wine produced by Bodegas Zárate in the Val do Salnés subregion of Rías Baixas. Sourced from the century-old, pre-phylloxera "El Palomar" parcel planted on shallow granite soils, the wine is fermented and aged on its fine lees in large French oak foudres. In the glass, it displays a pale yellow hue with green highlights, presenting a complex nose of ripe yellow orchard fruit, lemon peel, white flowers, and subtle toasted oak nuances. On the palate, it is broad, textured, and deeply concentrated, balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinct, saline-driven mineral finish.
