Xoriguer Mahon Gin 700ml

Gin de Mahón Xoriguer is a historical Spanish gin handcrafted in the port of Mahón on the island of Menorca. Made using a base of wine alcohol (grape spirit) rather than grain, it is distilled in traditional wood-fired copper pot stills that are over 250 years old. It is infused with juniper berries harvested from the neighboring Mediterranean mountains along with a secret blend of herbs, giving it a rich, distinctive, and classic Mediterranean profile protected by its own geographical indication.

Food Pairing: Tapas, cured meats (such as Menorcan sobrasada or jamón Ibérico), aged manchego cheese, seafood, and salted olives.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a light, smooth, and dry mouthfeel.

Nose: Intensely aromatic with upfront notes of fresh green piney juniper, subtle citrus zest, earthy herbs, and a delicate vinous sweetness.

Palate: Clean, dry, and robust with a powerful core of resinous juniper, balanced by notes of lemongrass, sweet citrus, cardamon, and underlying herbaceous spice.

Finish: Long, crisp, and dry with lingering pine, citrus peel, and a clean herbal warming finish.

Serve: Enjoy over ice, in a classic Gin & Tonic with a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime, or served in the traditional Menorcan "Pomada" (mixed with cloudy lemonade over ice).
