Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey

An incredibly unique and historically significant expression from the Woodford Reserve portfolio. Unlike traditional Scottish single malts which use 100% malt, this expression leans heavily into American bourbon-making traditions by utilizing a mash bill of 51% malted barley, 47% corn, and 2% rye. Aged in heavily charred new American oak barrels and bottled at 90.4 proof, it offers an exceptionally rich, nutty, and sweet profile that beautifully bridges the gap between a classic Kentucky bourbon and a smooth Scottish malt.

NOSE

Rich and highly aromatic. Beautiful notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, sweet malt, and warm vanilla bean.

PALATE

Smooth, nutty, and slightly sweet. Deep flavors of toasted almond, milk chocolate, and sweet corn are balanced perfectly by gentle oak tannins and a touch of citrus.

FINISH

Clean, warm, and lingering with sweet malt and soft toasted wood.
