Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Cherry Wood Smoked Barley 750ml

Here we have the 12th release in the Master's Collection series from Woodford Reserve. The malted barley used in the mash for this particular expression was dried using the smoke from burning cherry wood. Not only that, while most American bourbons contain around 10-15% malted barley, this one contains an impressive 30%! The liquid boasts a wonderfully rich copper colour and comes presented in a rather regal bottle.

Nose: Brown sugar, pine, coriander and blackberry.

Palate: Malt, rich cherry and more brown sugar, with a heavy minerality and slight smokiness.

Finish: Medium-long, with mild smoky notes and cocoa.
