Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon is an innovative, twice-barreled Kentucky straight bourbon produced at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky. First matured in handcrafted new white oak barrels, the bourbon is then transferred to a second, heavily toasted and lightly charred oak barrel for additional aging, extracting deep notes of dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, and rich oak spice.

Food Pairing: Dark chocolate truffles, crème brûlée, pecan pie, smoked brisket, or blue cheese.

Tasting Notes : Deep amber to dark copper in appearance with a rich, heavy, and velvety mouthfeel.

Nose : Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, honey, chocolate, marzipan, and toasted oak.

Palate : Full-bodied with layers of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, sweet baking spices, and toasted oak.
