Distilled in copper pot stills at one of Kentucky's oldest and smallest distilleries, Woodford Reserve is crafted from a high-rye mash bill and aged in unique, heavily toasted and lightly charred barrels. Bottled at a versatile 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV), it delivers an incredibly rich, well-rounded, and highly complex flavor profile featuring over 200 detectable flavor notes, ranging from bold grain and wood to sweet aromatics and fruit.
NOSE
Rich, heavy, and sweet with massive aromas of dark chocolate, warm honey, toasted oak, and bright citrus.
PALATE
Exceptionally smooth, complex, and full-bodied. Deep notes of caramel, vanilla cream, and baked apple are perfectly balanced by a bold, peppery rye spice.
FINISH
Long, warm, and highly satisfying with lingering sweet vanilla and gentle spice.
