About the Wittmann Brunnenhauschen Riesling GG
Wittmann Brunnenhäuschen Riesling GG is a high-altitude, biodynamic dry white wine produced by Philipp Wittmann from the steep, limestone and clay-marl slopes of the Brunnenhäuschen site in Westhofen. Fermented using ambient yeasts and aged in large, neutral oak casks, it exhibits an ethereal, crystalline aromatic profile filled with white peach, Meyer lemon, crushed herbs, and white floral accents. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, taut, and precise, striking a masterclass balance between concentrated citrus fruit flavors, electric limestone acidity, and a long, intensely saline, mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with pan-seared sea scallops, wild turbot in lemon-herb butter, fresh oysters, roasted pork tenderloin, yellowtail sashimi, and aged goat's milk cheese.
