An absolute masterpiece of maturation from the most highly acclaimed rye brand in the world. This ultra-premium 15-year-old straight rye whiskey takes WhistlePig’s signature robust flavor profile and finishes it in custom-charred barrels made from Vermont Estate Oak harvested directly from the WhistlePig farm. Bottled at 92 proof, this custom oak features tighter grain patterns that impart a spectacular, intensely deep, and luxurious layer of vanilla and heavy spice not found in standard barrels.
NOSE
Deep, rich, and highly complex. Massive aromas of dark caramel, rich vanilla bean, heavily toasted oak, and warm baking spices.
PALATE
Exceptionally smooth, thick, and velvety. Lush flavors of dark chocolate, butterscotch, and sweet leather are perfectly balanced by intense rye spice and deep oak tannins.
FINISH
Incredibly long, luxurious, and warming with lingering dark fruit and sweet, toasted wood.
