Whisky Sponge Edition No.61 is a single refill barrel of 1990 Islay Single Malt.
Featuring a slightly more thoughtful label themed around memory, family and the future, this is probably as close as we'll get to bottling named whisky from 'that' particular southern Islay distillery. We opted to bottle this cask at natural cask strength as we felt it was just perfect as it came from the wood. Wonderfully fresh, coastal and peaty with tang of green and exotic fruits in the mix that hark back to a slightly older style example of this great Islay make.
