This bottling is a multi-vintage small batch edition created by mixing a 1995 refill barrel with a 1997 refill hogshead. The resulting 24 year old was bottled at natural cask strength of 49.8% and yielded just 443 bottles.
It's a rather full-bodied, drier style Glen Grant. Lots of weighty distillate character, peppery warmth, soft waxy notes and oily citrus fruit flavours.
Suitable for hipsters and posers. But also works exceptionally well for those who like quietly enjoying excellent highland malt whisky.
