Whisky For Us DEVINE Saanich Canadian Single Malt Whisky

Bottled by independent bottler Whisky For Us (Spirit For Us), this single cask release features a 4.5-year-old single malt distilled at DEVINE Distillery on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island. Matured for 3.5 years in a sweet Moscatel wine barrique before a final secondary cask finish, this 53% ABV expression presents a vibrant, exotic profile filled with tropical fruit, floral tea, honeydew, and bright ginger effervescence.

Food Pairing: Fresh oysters, lemon herb grilled chicken, poached pears, goat cheese crostini, or white chocolate dessert.

Tasting Notes: Bright golden straw with crisp, light-to-medium viscosity along the glass.

Nose: Vibrant and floral, opening with ripe peaches, cantaloupe, kiwi, and honeydew melon, followed by jasmine tea, fragrant honeysuckle, and subtle malted grain.

Palate: Sweet and lively on the palate, featuring fresh apple, green grape, and honeyed cereal upfront before developing into candied ginger, citrus zest, and soft wood spice.

Finish: Clean and refreshing with a gentle ginger ale lift, fading into lingering notes of orchard fruit and sweet honey.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass, or with a splash of cool water to highlight its tropical fruit and floral aromas.
