Bodega y Cavas de Weinert Cask Selection 2012 is the winery's iconic flagship blend, crafted from old-vine fruit grown in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. A decade of maturation in large French oak casks develops remarkable complexity, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, cedar, cocoa, baking spice, leather, and tobacco. Rich yet impeccably balanced, the palate is framed by refined tannins and vibrant acidity, culminating in an elegant, exceptionally persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Wagyu ribeye, dry-aged striploin, braised beef short ribs, roast lamb, venison, aged Manchego, and wild mushroom risotto.
