A distinguished Riesling from Weingüter Wegeler's Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg vineyard in the Rheingau. This steep, south to southwest-facing site is rooted in Taunus quartzite and phyllite slate, giving the wine pronounced mineral character, focused citrus and stone-fruit notes, vibrant acidity and an elegant, persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Grilled fish, shellfish, roast poultry, veal, fresh goat cheese and refined seafood dishes.
