Voodoo The Nailed Puppet 11 Year Old

The Nailed Puppet is an independently bottled 11 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Brave New Spirits’ Whisky of Voodoo range. The spirit comes from Tormore Distillery and was matured in a combination of first- and second-fill bourbon barrels before being bottled at 52.6% ABV. Its profile combines tropical and stone fruits with creamy vanilla, honeyed malt and a gentle layer of mineral peat smoke. Brave New Spirits specifically classifies this expression as lightly peated.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled pork, roast chicken, smoked salmon, creamy cheeses, grilled pineapple, peach tart, vanilla desserts, or honey-glazed nuts.

Tasting Notes: A fruity and lightly smoky Speyside malt, balancing tropical fruit, stone fruit and citrus with creamy vanilla, honey, malt and soft mineral peat.

Nose: Dried tropical fruit and pineapple lead into banana, peach, vanilla cream and honey, with a subtle smoky undertone.

Palate: Rich malt and sweet fruit develop alongside citrus, peach, apricot and honey, followed by soft mineral peat smoke and warming spice.

Finish: Lingering tropical fruit and gentle smoke, with vanilla, pineapple and drying oak spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a tulip-shaped whisky glass. At 52.6% ABV, allow it to rest before tasting and add a few drops of water if desired to open the fruit, vanilla and smoke.
