Undurraga U Merlot

Intense ruby with violet highlights. Subtle aromas of red and black berries with notes of bell pepper. Medium bodied, supple and round, with ripe cherry fruit and a peppery, spicy finish.

Excellent with pasta dishes, grilled steaks, burgers and full flavoured dishes.

Don Francisco Undurraga was among Chile's winemaking pioneers. In 1885, he personally brought vines from France and Germany to plant on his estate 34 kilometers from Santiago, in the heart of the Maipo Valley. The winery has been a pioneer in exploring the emergent Chilean valleys of Colchagua and Leyda, creating quality wines that appeal to a broad range of consumers.
