Villa Antinori Rosso 2022/2023

A cornerstone of Tuscan winemaking since its debut in 1928, the Marchesi Antinori Villa Antinori Rosso is a sophisticated Toscana IGT that embodies the Antinori family's historic prestige. Primarily a blend of Sangiovese enriched with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, this red spends approximately 12 months in oak barriques to develop its signature complexity. The wine presents an intense ruby red colour and a bouquet rich with ripe cherries, blackberries, and subtle notes of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and supple, featuring velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that balances its deep fruit flavours with hints of spices and dark chocolate. Its elegant structure and persistent finish make it an exceptionally food-friendly choice, pairing seamlessly with grilled red meats, hearty pasta ragù, or aged pecorino cheese.
