The Domaine du Vieux Lazaret Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a rich and structured red blend from one of the oldest and largest estates in the appellation. Known for its elegance rather than sheer power, it often features a complex bouquet of ripe dark berries, spices, and leather, balanced by velvety tannins and a persistent, mineral-driven finish. The estate's history dates back to 1748, with its name originating from a 17th-century "Lazaret" (hospice) that once occupied the site.
