About the Vie Melange Maison VI Old Vines NV 750ml
Mélange Maison is a blend consisting of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache. The Mélange Maison VI has a bit darker fruit and structure than its predecessor, giving it more focus and depth. Although it is designed to be an every-day wine, this is a serious wine with dark black fruits, white pepper, and a hint of white flowers on the nose. In the mouth, this wine explodes with blackberry and blueberry fruit upfront and dives into black currants, creamy oak, sweet cherries, and dried herbs in the finish. This wine is medium to full-bodied and structured so that it can accompany a variety of different foods.
