About the Veuve Clicquot Brut Cave Privee Rose 1989 750ml
The Private Cellar collection of the Veuve Clicquot house opens the doors to the history of one of the most famous champagne houses. This collection offers the greatest vintages of the last 40 years. Thus the Rosé 1989 is the unique interpretation of a very great year.
This rosé champagne is a blend of 66% pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and 34% chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. To this blend was married 13% red wine made from Pinot Noir de Bouzy.
The dosage is extremely low (4g/L) in order to let this rare champagne fully express its maturity and crazy complexity.
The Rose Private Cellar 1989 of the Veuve Clicquot house is dressed in a partridge eye dress, sparkling and bright.
On the nose, it is a charming champagne, gourmet, on notes of pastry.
In the mouth, this champagne is structured, round, with a touch of vinosity, on notes of forest fruits, citrus fruits, or pecan nuts.
