Verónica Ortega Kinki Mencía Bierzo 2020

A magnificent and beautifully electric Spanish red wine crafted by winemaker Verónica Ortega from a single, high-altitude old vineyard in Cobrana. A unique co-fermentation of century-old Mencía with approximately 25% indigenous white varieties (Palomino, Doña Blanca, Godello), it is aged for eight months in clay amphorae to preserve its ultra-fresh, light, and vibrant profile, expressing crunchy wild strawberries, pomegranate, sour cherries, slate minerals, and a touch of alpine air.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with roasted duck breast, traditional German Black Forest ham, delicate roasted quail, or soft, earthy artisan cow's milk cheeses.
