About the Verite Le Desir 2015
Inspired by Saint-Émilion, this ultra-premium Sonoma County icon captures a magnificent, Cabernet Franc-dominant masterclass. Captivating aromas of crushed rock, wild strawberries, and new leather introduce a firm, clay-textured palate driven by dark cherries, tobacco box, and iron-rich minerality.
Food Pairing: Pairs magnificently with roasted rack of lamb with rosemary, prime dry-aged chateaubriand, slow-braised venison shanks, or complex truffled wild mushroom pasta.

The 2015 Le Désir is a blend of 64% Cabernet Franc, 27% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Malbec. It's dusty and a touch closed at this stage, featuring reticent notions of red and black currants, cigars and mushroom. The palate is softening and juicy, with a deep core of fruit and a mineral-driven finish.
