The Vérité 2018 Assortment 3-Pack is a highly coveted, ultra-premium collector's set representing the absolute pinnacle of Sonoma County winemaking. Crafted by legendary Vigneron Pierre Seillan, this set features one bottle each of Vérité’s three iconic, Bordeaux-inspired blends from the spectacular 2018 vintage—a year widely celebrated for its perfect ripening conditions, structure, and immense aging potential.

The three-pack includes:

• La Joie (Pauillac Style): La Joie shows a rich core of black-violet concentration, ringed with a very thin, youthful looking violet rim. The fruit aromatics are fresh and vibrant, with black currant & black plum compote, joined by elements of fresh cut greenery, subtle pine resin, iodine, and roasted baking spices. The palate illustrates the power and suppleness of the 2019 vintage, lending a purity and sweetness to each of the flavors described. The texture is balanced by tannins evocative of dark baking cocoa and robust acidity, both of which lead to a long, persistent finish. 

• La Muse (Pomerol Style): La Muse shimmers with a deep violet-ruby core of color, expressing opulent fruit aromas of candied red & black cherry, and wild fresh blackberry, with perfumed notes of dried potpourri, dried rosemary, and essences of sandalwood, toasted cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove from French oak aging. The palate perfectly mirrors the nose, along with tannins reminiscent of dark cocoa nib, bright acidity, and petrichor minerality, all of which work to balance the supple texture of this wine, driving to a very long finish.

• Le Désir (Saint-Émilion Style): The appearance of 2021 Le Désir is defined by a dark ruby-purple center, enveloped by a violet rim. Expressing beautiful aromatics unique to Cabernet Franc, the nose is exuberant with violet blossom, fresh cut greenery, dried black tea, crushed walnut shell, and bright red and black fruits. French oak aging has graced this wine with subtle aromas of ground clove, and cinnamon bark. On the palate, the texture is very firm, but balanced by prominent fruit flavors, along with high-toned oak elements that are spicy and bright. The long finish is savory and marked by petrichor minerality. Age will imbue incredible depth and complexity.
