About the Velocity Craft Spirits Hibiscus Gin 750ml
Velocity Craft Spirits Hibiscus Gin is an artisanal craft spirit produced by Velocity Craft Spirits in Calgary, Alberta. Distilled from a neutral grain base and infused with vibrant dried hibiscus flowers alongside a traditional botanical blend, this spirit delivers a striking deep-pink tint and a lively tart, floral profile that harmonizes with crisp juniper and citrus notes.
Food Pairing: Charcuterie with prosciutto and soft cheeses, goat cheese crostini, fresh berry tarts, duck breast with fruit reduction, and summer citrus salads.
Tasting Notes: Vibrant magenta-pink in appearance with a smooth, juicy, and rounded mouthfeel.
Nose: Intensely floral and fruity with upfront notes of tangy hibiscus, wild cranberry, and bright orange peel, balanced by resinous piney juniper.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing with a burst of tart red berry fruitiness, cranberry-like acidity, and floral hibiscus, underpinned by dry juniper and warm spice.
Finish: Clean, lively, and medium in length with lingering notes of tart berry skin, soft floral dryness, and mild pine warmth.
Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium tonic water or lemonade garnished with a wheel of lime or fresh berries, or build into a vibrant Gin Sour or French 75.
