About the Vasques de Carvalho 40 Year Old Tawny Port 375ml
Powerful and exceptionally complex, this aged Tawny Port layers caramel, honey and dried fruit with roasted coffee, fine wood and warming spice. The palate is intense yet elegant, revealing velvety richness, remarkable freshness and mature oxidative character through an extraordinarily persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with apple tart, crème brûlée, dark chocolate, toasted almonds, blue cheese, aged hard cheeses, or enjoy after dinner.
