A magnificent and extraordinarily unique Spanish red wine crafted by Valenciso from old-vine Tempranillo plots over 75 years old in Rioja Alta. Deliberately matured for a decade before release—spending five years in traditional concrete vats followed by 40 months in fine-grained Caucasian oak barrels—this ultra-limited edition reveals a remarkably youthful yet beautifully complex bouquet of ripe black cherries, dark damsons, lead pencil shavings, Christmas cake spice, and deep earthy undergrowth.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-roasted rack of lamb, rich venison loin with berry reduction, grilled prime ribeye steak, or boards of extra-aged artisan manchego.

Nice dark-earth funk, black cherries, lead pencil and graphite with a meaty note. Still pretty youthful, with medium to full body and fine-grained tannins. Long and juicy. This makes me think of a left-bank Bordeaux. Aging really well. Drink now, but can still hold.
