G.D. Vajra Dolcetto d'Alba 2024 is a vibrant, artisanal expression of the indigenous Dolcetto grape, crafted from high-elevation estate vineyards in Barolo and Novello. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve its pure varietal fruit, this wine presents bright aromas of dark cherries, fresh wild blueberries, crushed dried herbs, and floral violet accents. On the palate, it exhibits lively, refreshing acidity, smooth fine-grained tannins, and a classic, pleasant note of bitter almond on the finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with charcuterie, antipasti, classic Margherita pizza, agnolotti, tomato-based pasta dishes, and light poultry or pork options.
