This is one of the pillars of the T.H. line, a cabernet sauvignon from the Pirque zone, where the Andean foothills begin in Alto Maipo. It's from a 35-year-old vineyard that, in a brilliant year for cabernet like 2021, has delivered this little delight of tense and vibrant red flavors with pure fresh red fruit that flows across the palate like fresh-squeezed juice. It has fine, firm tannins and the texture of a great Maipo cabernet—that elegance, those deep flavors, and a very clear sense of place. At its best, Pirque bears fruit that's so clear that it’s almost like breathing in the Andes.
