Undurraga Red Field Blend 2019 750ml

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
I love the new 2019 Red Field Blend produced with grapes from a vineyard that is planted with Malbec and contains an unknown percentage of País, Carignan and Cinsault. It's tremendously floral, perfumed and nuanced, elegant and showy, open and expressive. It's ripe but has very good freshness, and the oak is neatly integrated, and the acidity if vibrant and lifts the wine up. It's super tasty and persistent. Bravo! It matured in a 5,000-liter oak foudre for 14 months. 4,400 bottles were filled in November 2020.

95 Points - Wine & Spirits
Presented as a traditional field blend, this wine includes malbec, cabernet sauvignon, carignan, cinsault and país. And yet, with all those varieties to choose from, it actually tasted more like a spicy nebbiolo. The tannins are black and tarry, a contrast to the sweet strawberry-scented fruit, coming together in a wine that feels open and welcoming. Wrapped in a brown paper bag, this wine lasted on my counter for a week, seemingly impervious to oxidation, using the time to gain layers of complexity and mystery.
