Undurraga Altazor 2023 is an exceptional, icon-level red blend produced by Viña Undurraga in Chile's Maipo Valley. Predominantly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon with small additions of Carménère and Carignan, it exhibits a deep plum and garnet hue with violet undertones. On the nose, it delivers rich, complex aromas of crème de cassis, ripe blackberries, quince, dried herbs, and tomato leaves, beautifully accented by cedar, cigar box, and dark chocolate notes. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, structured, and radiant, featuring fine-grained tannins, vibrant natural acidity, and a long, savory finish driven by deep dark fruit and subtle graphite undertones.
