UKO Select Vineyards Reserva Malbec 2020

Sourced from high-altitude vineyards grown in the sandy loam soils of Paraje Altamira, this Reserva Malbec exhibits a very deep ruby-red color with vibrant violet sparkles. The bouquet delivers rich, concentrated aromas of grilled plums, ripe blackberries, and sweet cherries, accented by notes of smoked paprika, star anise, espresso, and dried violets. The medium-to-full-bodied palate is intensely savory and smoky, displaying broad flavors of dark chocolate and fresh black fruit supported by easy, silky tannins and a distinct streak of saline minerality. Ten months of aging in second- and third-use French oak barrels adds structural complexity without overshadowing the wine's intrinsic fruit purity and underlying freshness.
