Two Stacks 6 Year Old Cab Franc Ice Wine Cask Finish

Two Stacks Cabernet Franc Ice Wine Cask Finish is a limited cask-strength Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey independently bonded by Two Stacks. The 6-year-old release was initially matured in first-fill bourbon for approximately four and a half years before spending a further 18 months in Cabernet Franc Ice Wine casks. Bottled at 56.5% ABV, it combines ripe red berries and plum with honeyed florals, caramel and vanilla, while clove, white pepper, orange zest and toasted oak provide structure and spice.

Food Pairing: Roast duck, grilled pork, aged cheddar, dark chocolate, berry tart, or vanilla desserts with red fruit and warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Rich and fruit-forward, balancing strawberry, raspberry and plum with honey, caramel, vanilla, citrus zest, toasted oak and pot-still spice.

Nose: Ripe red berries and poached plum mingle with honeyed florals, vanilla and subtle toasted oak.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied, developing strawberry, raspberry and caramel alongside vanilla, orange zest, clove and white pepper.

Finish: Long and fruit-forward, with lingering berries, gentle tannins, toasted oak and warming spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a tulip-shaped glass; at cask strength, a few drops of water can reveal additional red fruit, honey and vanilla.
