Two Stacks 12 Year Old Single Grain Irish Whiskey

Two Stacks 12 Year Old Single Grain Irish Whiskey is a mature single grain expression independently bottled by Two Stacks Bonders & Blenders. Distilled at Cooley and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before receiving a six-month finish in American rye whiskey casks, it is bottled at 46% ABV. The extended maturation creates a smooth, sweet profile of vanilla, honey and tropical fruit, complemented by caramel, citrus, toasted grain and the additional peppery spice of the rye-cask finish.

Food Pairing: Roast pork, aged cheddar, grilled chicken, roasted nuts, apple tart, or caramel desserts with vanilla and warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and mature, balancing vanilla and honey with tropical fruit, caramel, citrus, toasted grain, sweet corn and warming rye-cask spice.

Nose: Sweet and aromatic, with vanilla and honey accompanied by tropical fruit, floral notes and gentle toasted grain.

Palate: Smooth and grain-forward, developing peach, mango and citrus alongside vanilla, caramel, sweet corn and warming rye spice.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering vanilla, tropical fruit, toasted grain and peppery rye-cask spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat, over ice, or with a few drops of water to reveal additional vanilla, fruit and rye-cask spice.
