Turntable Spirits Smoking Riff Blended Scotch

Turntable Spirits Smokin' Riff is a smoky Blended Scotch Whisky from Turntable's core range, bottled at 46% ABV. Its transparent recipe combines malt whisky from Knockdhu, Craigellachie and Caol Ila with grain whisky from North British, matured across Pedro Ximénez sherry, bourbon, red-wine and virgin-oak casks. Caol Ila provides the prominent coastal peat smoke, while the PX-matured malts bring dried-fruit sweetness and richness. Turntable describes the overall profile as campfire smoke backed by toffee, pear, raisins and cinnamon.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked brisket, barbecue pork ribs, grilled sausages, smoked cheddar, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, pear tart, or raisin-based desserts.

Tasting Notes: Smoky and richly fruited, balancing campfire peat with toffee, pear and dried fruit, followed by chocolate, warming cinnamon and sweet oak.

Nose: Campfire smoke leads into toffee and ripe pear, with raisins, caramel and gentle spice developing underneath.

Palate: Smoky and savoury, with charred-meat character balanced by red fruit, dried fruit, sweet malt and warming spice.

Finish: Medium and smoky, with lingering peat, oak tannins, dried fruit and gentle spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat, with a small splash of water, or over a large cube of ice. At 46% ABV, it retains enough intensity to work well in whisky-forward cocktails.
