Whisky Agency Tullibardine 30 Year Old 15th Anniversary

The bottle in your photo is The Whisky Agency Tullibardine 30 Year Old 1993/2023, released to celebrate The Whisky Agency’s 15th Anniversary. Distilled at Tullibardine in 1993 and bottled in 2023, this mature Highland Single Malt spent its maturation in a refill rum barrel and was bottled at natural 47.6% ABV. Only 197 bottles were released. The long maturation and rum-cask influence produce a mature, fruit-driven profile with pineapple, plum, apricot and peach alongside raisins, sweet malt, vanilla, caramel and gentle spice.

Food Pairing: Pair with roasted pork, glazed ham, mature cheese, dried fruit and nuts, pineapple cake, peach tart, crème brûlée, or caramel desserts.

Tasting Notes: Mature and fruit-forward, combining tropical and stone fruits with dried fruit, sweet malt, caramel and subtle rum-cask sweetness.

Nose: Pineapple, plum and dried apricot develop alongside raisins, sweet malt and gentle vanilla.

Palate: Soft and fruity, with plum, apricot and peach joined by malt sweetness, caramel and a subtle tropical rum-cask character.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering fruit, malt, gentle pepper, cardamom and a lightly drying spice character.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a tulip-shaped whisky glass. At 47.6% ABV, allow it time to open before adding a few drops of water if desired.
