Tullibardine 15 Year Old

Tullibardine 15 Year Old is an official Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Tullibardine Distillery in Blackford, Perthshire. Distilled after the distillery resumed production in 2003, this expression is matured for 15 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 43% ABV. The extended bourbon-cask maturation gives it an approachable fruit-forward character, with vanilla, honey, cereal malt and oak supporting notes of ripe fruit, cocoa and warming spice.

Food Pairing: Pair with roast chicken, grilled pork, creamy cheeses, mature cheddar, roasted almonds, apple tart, vanilla cake, or crème brûlée.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and fruit-forward, balancing ripe orchard fruit with creamy vanilla, honeyed malt, cocoa, gentle oak and warming spice.

Nose: Delicate dried hay and cereal notes develop into baked apple, vanilla, honey and light floral aromas.

Palate: Creamy and rounded, with fresh fruit, vanilla and sweet malt accompanied by cocoa, gentle cinnamon and warming spice.

Finish: Medium to long, with lingering vanilla, sweet malt, fruit, cocoa and softly drying oak.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a tulip-shaped whisky glass. A small splash of water can be added to open the fruit and vanilla character.
